Terms for the Rovoya beta

These terms apply when you use Rovoya, including this website and the app during its private beta. By using Rovoya you agree to them. Rovoya is run by Wilson Labs Limited, New Zealand.

1. The beta

Rovoya is in beta. It’s free to use during the beta, features may change, and things may occasionally break or be unavailable. We’ll try to give notice before changes that affect your trips, and we’ll never delete your trips without telling you first.

2. Who can use Rovoya

You must be 18 or over. You’re responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since that’s how you sign in, and for what happens under your account.

3. Your trips and what you add

What you add stays yours. You give Rovoya permission to store it, show it to the people on your trip as described in our privacy policy, and use it to run the service.
Only add things you have the right to share, and be kind: no harassment, hateful, illegal or misleading content, and no content about other people that they wouldn’t expect you to share.
The organiser can change trip settings, remove people and delete the trip. Everyone’s preferences count equally in Rovoya’s suggestions.

4. Bookings, prices and suggestions

Rovoya never books anything or takes payment. When you book through a link, your agreement is with that provider, and their terms and prices apply.
Prices in Rovoya are estimates or recent fares seen by others, not quotes. Always check the price and details on the provider’s site before you book.
Suggestions, including AI suggestions, can be wrong or out of date. Check opening times, travel advice, visa and health requirements, and accessibility for yourself.
Balances and “who owes whom” are worked out from what your group records. Rovoya doesn’t move money, and settling up is between you.

5. Affiliate links

Some links to booking sites may earn Rovoya a commission. That never changes which options we show or their order.

6. Using Rovoya fairly

Don’t try to access other people’s information, disrupt the service, scrape it, or use it to send spam. We may suspend accounts that do, after telling you why where we can.

7. Liability

We provide Rovoya during the beta “as is”. As far as the law allows, we’re not liable for losses from relying on suggestions, estimates or information from third parties, from bookings you make with providers, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be excluded.

8. Ending

You can stop using Rovoya and delete your account at any time. If the beta ends, we’ll give you notice and a way to export your trip details.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we’ll tell you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
